HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
LIVE IN FEAR MORTALS, FOR I HAVE RETURNED!

I'm DONE. DONE with the project of death. Completely and utterly dried up, crazy fucked-up tired and have lost my entire concept of time, but I'm DONE. Never mind the fact that I don't know what day it is, still can't properly type straight for the animation-induced agony in my hands. . . nothin' matters, because the semester is over, and I'm done.

. . . okay, I have three papers due. But still.

DONE.

I have to catch up on. . . no joke. . . about a week of sleep. Heh heh. Yeah. You think I'm kidding. No. Much sleep to catch up on. Two final papers and one novel to finish for creative writing.

And the comicking shall commence.

I know what it is like to have a project like that ... i HATE deadlines but it has to get done right? lol
I totally understand the lack of sleep... i have a bunch to catch up on myself... good luck on finishing the final two papers and the novel for creative writing... i took a creative writing course last summer... i had so many ideas and i couldnt sit down long enough to finish any of them and i was up all night before (And most of the days too) finishing every one of them off... and going to class shaking from exhaustion ... *sighs* i feel your pain... i hope you can catch up on at least some of the sleep you lost before you have to finish the other stuff off...
and dont worry about dissappearing for so long you had to get it done!!

Yeah! Sleep is good though I can't convince my children of that. It's been a million years since college for me, but my work hours begin at 3am, so I limp by without enough sleep all the time.
When you're well rested, it would be smashing to see the next comic... hint hint.

Webcomic peoples need to live their lives too. I get that. And if that means that the webcomic hasn't been updated in a while, then so be it. You've given me many opportunities for entertainment-slash-creative inspiration-slash-procrastination totally free of charge over the last few months, for which I am genuinely grateful. You owe me nothing.

I started writing the post below mostly because the punchline floated through my head just now, and I thought it was funny. But I re-read it before posting, and realized it could easily be interpreted as being bitter. Which is simply not the case. I just have a nasty sense of humour, sometimes.

Oh, and I don't normally choose to talk in the third person. It just came out that way, and seemed to work.

Anywho, back to our regularly scheduled program.....

THE ACTUAL POST

Let's review, shall we?

"... I'm officially announcing my return date to the world of comicking... [i]n two weeks..."

- The Tourniquet main page, 13/2/06

Little Che waits patiently for two weeks, and checks up on the Tourniquet main page. No webcomic. But that's okay, no-one's perfect. Little Che goes to check Rukis' journal, and finds:

"I have to catch up on. . . no joke. . . about a week of sleep... And the comicking shall commence."

Still no webcomic.

That's coo. Little Che understands. So he continues to wait. Then, upon checking back a week and a half later, he finds the following:

"Finals are over. I just finished my last essay about three days ago, and have been sleeping ever since. I may now. . . return.

So a new page is in the works. As in, I'm working on it right now. While I'm sitting here. Eating a sam'wich. Yum."

Still no webcomic.

Che sighs in resignation. No doubt Rukas is very busy. Understandable. But little Che takes it on faith that, yes, there is a comic in the works. And that, yes, it will be up soon.

That was a week ago. And little Che has just now noticed something. Yes, yes he has.

Still no webcomic.

Oh... and for those of you who know who Aido is, I think she's great too. I don't mean to go Aido-bashing. Aido kicks much ass.

well, being compared to aido's updating schedule was a huge kick in the jaw. That kind of hurt. I'm not *that* bad. . . .

*sigh* So long as I'm on par with Aido, why don't I try not updating for a year? goddamn goddamn. . . I'll work on the blasted thing tommorrow

sounds stressful, Im going to start collage this september and Im so scared. I love your comic so glad you updated was thinking it was one of thoughs lost to the world comics but not it updated!! so haaapppyyyy!!!!!
