I swear, the fucking world is out to get me!

I UPDATED LAST NIGHT! And now fucking Angelfire has been crashed for the past umpteen hours. MOTHERFUCKINGCOCKSLAPPINGDIRTYPIGFUCKINGWHORES!

Hate. . . life. . . .

Not even the images I linked on my post are showing, because they're fucking LINKED THROUGH ANGELFIRE!

oh, it might be your firewall keeping you from seeing the images. It did that with a couple of sites for me till i changed firewalls.

You might want to LJ cut the images with a warning because 1) the General one is rather large and 2) you may have viewers who like to check LJ at work and the nudity won't really be a good thing to view on a work computer. :P

Other than that, cool pics. ^_^

I don't really like censorship. . . . And considering the vast amount of *profanity* in most of my posts, I don't see how it hurts. . . .

This is a really touchy subject, considering 'twas YOU who knowingly added Rukis' journal on your friends list. I don't mean to sound overly defensive or hostile...but one can't really make demands of someone else's personal blog just because you, yourself, chose to view it.

There's a warning on the Tourniquet site for nudity...naturally you'd assume the journal for both the comic and the creator would have a spot of nudity here or there. :P

I'm not talking about myself as I view my LJ from home. I was merely thinking about other viewers who might view from work or even school as I know many people do that.

And yes, I know there's a warning on the site and I would expect the same thing to be on a LJ that's about the comic. However, this is her personal journal, not the comic's journal, so I wasn't quite expecting to see the same art here especially since all her other posts are pretty much just journal entries about her day and not the comic. Not to mention that if the site needed the warning to begin with, then anything else to do with the site should have the same warning as well. A pack of cigarettes has the same warning as the carton. Just because you can see it on the carton first doesn't mean the pack shouldn't get the same warning. Two completely different things, I know, but it was the only analogy I could think of at the moment. :P

I wasn't demanding anything either. I was merely suggesting a LJ cut out of common courtesy for her viewers who might want to still be her friend on LJ, but don't want to see penises when at work. It doesn't take a lot of effort to do a LJ cut and it's not removing the work. It's merely a "click at your own risk" link which would keep people from upsetting surprises at work, which is simply respectful.
While they did friend her at their own risk, if they still clicked the link even after a warning of nudity, then it really is their fault and can't say they didn't know it'd be there. Friending someone and trying to view your entire friend's page shouldn't have to be done at your own risk. I don't believe in censorship either, but a LJ cut isn't censoring - it's warning. Censoring would be to leave it out completely. LJ cutting is giving a warning and letting people decide if they want to risk viewing it still.

All artists whose LJs I watch do it of their own free will, again, as a courtesy to their viewers. I simply offered a suggestion before she got any angry emails or comments about not cutting it. I mean, if she got an email about Dawn's breast size, I'm sure she'll get some about not cutting nude work so people could have some warning if they didn't want to see it. Many online galleries do it as well (look at Deviant Art) by replacing the image with a holder image giving warning of adult material and it's up to the viewer to click it to see the whole image.

Again, it was merely a suggestion - I said you might want to, I never demanded it or said do it or else. I have her best interest in keeping people off her back about things like that in mind and a simple LJ cut will be enough to keep people from stumbling on to something that could get them in trouble at work or school.

Well it's not really censorship as the full image will still be viewable. But yeah I know what you mean. :)

Profane language and nude pictures are two different things also, but I'm just thinking about a business setting. *shrug* It was just a suggestion to Rukis to keep viewers in mind. :)

I see your point...but to me, it's their own stupidity and risk-taking that'd get them caught seeing a demon's wang in the first place...live and learn as they say. :)

I understand what you're saying too, but to me, I don't think many people would expect to see that on a LJ. I know I didn't and I know her in RL. :P lol

But in the end it's up to her what to do.

Wow! I am impressed with this manga like very much. Tourniquet is my favorite medical word and evanescence my favorite band. Yeah i'm weird like that and blood amazes me all the more. Anyways keep up the awesome work and I look forward to reading more of this excellent master piece.
